Jump Ahead - Jump Higher

Saturday, September 26th, 2009
by Janine Rose Morley

Why would you consider a jump higher program? Do you already think you are the best jumper on the court? How are you getting that advantage? Is it natural or do you work at your muscle strength. Do you realize that even if that is true, you are still not unleashing your full potential? You could be emphasizing muscle strength when muscle speed could make you a better player.

Dazzle your teammates, your coaches, and your fans with your ability to jump higher and dominate the game in all the following ways:

* Slam Dunk Effortlessly * Become a Champion Shot Blocker * Control the Boards * Bring Up Your Stats * Dazzle All With Your Moves

The ability to leap is what separates the best players from the rest. They control all aspects of the game. And that is where a jump higher program benefits you.

Offense and defense both depend on your ability to leap. Your game will not be up to par and the game will pass you by (literally). A jump higher program will prevent this.

You will have no problem finding someone who says they can make you better. Coaches, skill instructors all will line up with the best program that will make you jump higher. There is no shortage of advice. They know the advantage of a jump higher program.

If you think the best use of your time is running around a gym everyday, sweating, doing the same thing over and over, go for it. There is no doubt that you will improve (youd better, for the time you are putting in to it). But you still will not have reached your full potential. A jump higher program will help you reach that potential.

Get away from that; start a jump higher program. To take full advantage of that energy and leap higher than before with a simple three minute exercise. You will see results in a matter of days.

These exercises will change your life as well as your court abilities. They will focus on specific fibers in your muscles that generate explosive speed. Once these are unleashed, you will be faster and will fly through the air.

Athletes are taking advantage of these exercises already. They are learning about the potential that can be released with improving their muscle speed. With these exercises, you will be bringing the game to your opponent.

No matter what condition you are currently in, you will push yourself ahead of the crowd with a method few others know about. Start today, start a jump higher program.

Increase Jumping Ability A Jumping Program You Can Build On. Do you want to increase jumping ability? If you are an athlete, there are certain skills that cannot be underrated. Strength and speed are vital. Jumping ability is also a key to becoming a great athlete. Whether you are driving to the basket, keeping balls in the infield as a shortstop, returning serves on a tennis court, or fighting for a ball on the soccer field, if you increase jumping ability you will get you an advantage over your opponent.

Among the skills that are important in most sports is the being able to out jump your opponent on the basketball or volleyball court. You need to be able to jump high for baseballs that are about to leave the park or the infield. You need to jump higher and further in track and field. When scouting players at any level, coaches are looking for vertical jump. That is why it is so important to increase jumping ability. And who wouldnt want to do this just for neighborhood bragging rights. Do those pickup games get physical? Take it to another level.

How does a person increase jumping ability? There are a lot of training techniques that are taught. The most popular training technique is plyometric. How does plyometric work and how will it increase your jumping ability? Think of a vertical leap, the one that will make you a better athlete. The best way to do this is to exert the most force in the least amount of time. Once you start training with these plyometric exercises, you will train the muscles in your legs to give the maximum effort. And this newly found strength will translate into better skills in your sport of choice. Whatever the sport you chose, whatever the level you want to play at, you can gain an advantage by creating a phenomenal vertical leap.

A vertical leap is vital to so many skills in so many sports. Plyometric exercises make those great vertical leaps possible. If you are professional, you will take your game to the next level. Your competition will have to respect. And who does not want respect? Even if you play a weekend game of tennis, you want respect. Show those friends that have been laughing at your game for years that you can improve. But do you need to go to a trainer to get this ability. There is a program that can give you the muscle training that you need without spending too much time or money. This program works no matter what your current skills. With this program, you can take your skills to the next level when you increase jumping ability.

Vertical Leaps And Bounds

Jump for Success Jump higher exercises can put you on a higher plain in basketball, both literally and figuratively. You can get advice from the a Hall of Fame player who will give you exercises geared toward making vertical jumping an important part of your training regimen.

As they say, do the math. The object of the game is to score more points and keep your opponent from scoring. The basket is ten feet off the ground and you need to get to yours while keeping the other team away from theirs. Succeed at that and you will win. Keep winning and the sky is the limit. This all starts with a vertical leap.

Why not give yourself an advantage over your competition. Basketball has so many fundamental parts, and the ability to fly higher than everybody will make the rest of the fundamentals fall into place. Look at films of championships, see how many rings were won because the best players could dominate the boards or the blocked shot while there opponents could not. And isnt championship rings what its all about?

Vertical leap was always thought to be mostly natural ability. Many determined athletes could improve with a combination of technique and discipline. These resulted in vertical leaps of over three feet. But now, vertical jumps are appreciated as a whole separate skill set for athletes. The result is training programs built by coaches who know the importance of jump higher exercises for their athletes. These programs take advantage of jump higher exercises This is no longer a matter of picking the best jumpers, it is now a matter of making the best jumpers.

But if you are a coach, what would you rather see: a tall player with no explosive leaping ability, or a smaller player who can dominate with outstanding jumping ability? This jumping ability will help you all over the court. If you need someone to change light bulbs, then having someone who is merely tall will work.

You need a plan to make your vertical jump an effective weapon. Jump higher exercises will help you develop this weapon. A structured program will train your muscles to become explosive which, in turn will allow you to push your game to the limit.

Can you rely on your natural leaping abilities? I have a better question: do you think that your opponent is? This is not something to take for granted. When would you like to find that out, about the time your opponent is driving for the basket?

Look at this situation another way: when you look at a track team practicing, you will see the team broken up into different groups. The sprinters are running short bursts to work on one set of muscle groups. Meanwhile the distance runners will be working on both a different set of muscles and their endurance. No coach would mix the two together. The sprinters need work on their explosion muscles and that muscles fiber. Its no different for vertical leap. Jump higher exercises will make this possible.

The Best College Football Teams to Start the Season

by Michael Reynolds

8. Ole Miss Rebels. I see this team starting out at #8, and Jevon Snead should be a driving force in 2009. He also has Tim Tebow figured out, so anything can happen in a game against the Gators. Don’t sleep on the Rebels.

7. Virginia Tech. Things were looking great for Virginia Tech before losing their running back for the entire year. Coming off a disappointing season last year (9-4), the ACC is weaker this year than last. I can’t see this team finishing at the #7 spot and they have a tough road ahead of them.

6. Ohio State. I could see Ohio State back in the national title game, assuming the team wins the games it’s supposed to. Terrell Pryor will do some great things for this team, and if they don’t make the BCS championship, a Rose Bowl is in the cards.

5. Alabama. Yet another team that could easily compete for the BCS championship. Alabama should coast through most of the season, save for its match-ups against LSU, the Vols, and the Rebels. While an undefeated season is unlikely, the team’s finish shouldn’t be too far off.

4. USC. A very young team, but possibly the most talented one in football. The inexperience makes it difficult to believe they’ll go all the way, but an early match-up against Ohio State will set the tone for the season. I expect good things either way.

3. Big 12’s - Oklahoma. Oklahoma Sooners are a big favorite to upset Texas and represent the Big 12 in the Championship game. With returning Heisman winner Bradford and a returning receiver lineup that put up record numbers last year. Oklahoma has a tough schedule including BYU, Miami, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, and Oklahoma St, whom allthey should defeat.Oklahoma’s only speed bump and possible detour will be Texas in week 6. The winner of that game will represent 1 half of the BCS title game. If they miss the Title game they will more than likely play in theFiesta Bowl against the ACC or Undefeated WAC/MAC team.

2. Texas. The Longhorns are simply one of the best out there, and Colt McCoy should have a huge season, as he’s eyeing a Heisman. There aren’t many better defenses out there and Texas remains a favorite to make the title game.

1. Florida. As long as Tim Tebow is on the team, there’s no reason to discount this team’s ability. Almost all of the entire team last season (besides Harvin and Nelson) is back for another season, and Florida has the experience and the talent to go all away. The Gators are the favorites entering the season.

The Top 8 NCAA Football Teams Entering 2009

7. ACC’s - Virginia Tech. The Hokies had a good chance to repeat as ACC champs until they lost their starting HB for the season. They had a mediocre season finishing 9-4. This season 9-4 might win the ACC but will be no where near close to be in the top ten or the National Title game. They will need to beatAlabama, Miami, Georgia Techand Nebraska to even be consideredfor the title which they will be lucky to beat 3 of the 4.At best, Virginia Tech will fall to the Gator Bowl against the Big East or Notre Dame.

6. Big 10’s - Ohio State. The buckeyes have a good chance to make it to the National Title. They must go undefeated or lose a close one to a really good team like USC or Penn State and hope no one else goes undefeated. Above all, They need to beat USC when they visit in week 2 to establish they are ready for prime time with returning sophomore QB Terrell Pryor. They must avoid an upset loss to Minnesota and Penn State. If they miss the Title Game they definitely should make the the Rose bowl against the Pac Ten if they can defeat Penn State and send them to the Capital One Bowl against a SEC team.

5. Alabama. It looks like Alabama has a good shot at the national title game this season. The only real things that stand in the way are LSU, Tennessee, and Ole Miss. Still, this team could easily finish with two losses or less.

4. Pac10’s - USC. Big favorites to punch their ticket early to the BCS title game, pending no unexpected surprise losses to Stanford or Oregon State. Their toughest game will be against Ohio State early in the season. Their issue will be adapting a young offense to the pressure of prime time and running up the score board. There is no reason they should play in any other bowl game outside of the BCS championship unless they cant win the voters over from the Big 12. In that case they will fall to the Rose Bowl against the Big 10 winner which will probably be Ohio State, De Ja Vue anyone?

3. Big 12’s - Oklahoma. Oklahoma Sooners are a big favorite to upset Texas and represent the Big 12 in the Championship game.
